Common questions

What is iAppreciateYou?
iAppreciateYou is a free affirmation web app at iappreciateyou.neoaesop.com. It shows one affirmation at a time from a bank of 260 across 8 categories, and every affirmation comes with a short explanation of why it works and a reinforcement line you can repeat. It is part of the NeoAesop 'AI for Good' initiative.
What is a Super-Affirmation?
An ordinary affirmation is a line you repeat. A Super-Affirmation carries two more things with it: why it works, and a reinforcement you can say back. You end up understanding the line rather than reciting it, and a line you understand is one you can still use on the day you do not believe it.

The Intelligence Era part is why it matters now. Machines can write, plan and answer. What no machine supplies is the voice you use on yourself. That one is still yours to build.
Is iAppreciateYou free?
Yes. iAppreciateYou is completely free, with no subscription, no trial, no ads, and no account to create. Open the page and it works.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no account. Affirmations you save, your daily count and your streak stay in your own browser on your own device.
How many affirmations does iAppreciateYou have?
260 affirmations across 8 categories: Winner, Confidence, Gratitude, Strength, Self-Love, Success, Mindset, and Treasure. Each one includes its meaning and a reinforcement line.
How is this different from other affirmation apps?
Every affirmation here carries its meaning, a short explanation of why it works, and a reinforcement line to repeat, so the practice is something you understand rather than something you recite. There is nothing to buy and nothing to join.
Can I save favorites and track a streak?
Yes. Tap the heart to save an affirmation to your saved lines, search them, and watch your daily count and streak. Everything is stored in your own browser; nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
Can I share a specific affirmation?
Yes. The Share button creates a direct link to the exact affirmation on screen, for example https://iappreciateyou.neoaesop.com/?a=gratitude-5.
Who made iAppreciateYou?
iAppreciateYou was created by Lindsay Hiebert, Founder and CEO of PIGENAI LLC, Kansas City, Missouri, as part of the NeoAesop 'AI for Good' initiative (neoaesop.com).
How does iAppreciateYou relate to NeoAesop, HeroicVerse and the books?
iAppreciateYou is the daily-practice layer of a body of work by Lindsay Hiebert on virtue and character for the Intelligence Era: 12+ books and the apps that carry them. It complements The Carried Light (Twenty-Six Durable Skills for the Intelligence Era), The Wick of Wit children's wisdom books (Classic and Wisdom Editions), NeoAesop (personalized fables with a moral lesson) and HeroicVerse (biographical poems). The stories and books build the virtues; the affirmations are how you practice them each day.
Is iAppreciateYou related to Affirm, the payments company?
No. iAppreciateYou is an affirmation app from NeoAesop and has no connection to Affirm, Inc. (affirm.com), the buy-now-pay-later company. The site was previously at affirm.neoaesop.com (short for 'affirmations'); that address now redirects here.
How do I contact the creator or read the privacy policy?
The privacy policy is at https://iappreciateyou.neoaesop.com/privacy and the terms at https://iappreciateyou.neoaesop.com/terms. Contact Lindsay Hiebert on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/lindsayhiebert) or via the project on GitHub (github.com/lhiebert01).
